achieve fashions fills fulfills fused gives moment sovereign task uses
Each moment is worthwhile, for He gives it; He uses it; He fills it; He fashions it; and He fulfills it. When He is fused with every breath, you can achieve the sovereign task of merging in Him.
benefit best deal feels gain god means prayer surrender until waits
PRAYER for some benefit or gain should not be addressed to God, for it means that God waits until He is asked! Surrender to Him; He will deal with you as He feels best and it will be the best for you.
attain birth cast evil eyes giver gives good happiness help keeps nourishing righteous satisfied serves towards wife
One, who does not cast evil eyes on her 'own' house... who does not have malevolence towards her husband... giver of joy....seeker of family's welfare...who treads on the righteous path... gives happiness to all... serves all... gives birth to good sons... keeps her brother-in-laws satisfied and gives nourishing food...May such a wife help us attain prosperity.

That which pleases His Will has come to pass; no one else can do anything.
donate earn hundred standard thus
O man! May you earn with your 'One hundred hands' and donate with 'Thousand hands'. May you thus set new standard for your duties!
body grace met mind
By the Grace of the Saints, Nanak has met the Lord; his mind and body are soothed and satisfied.
achieve man success weak
A weak man can never achieve success in his life.
beneficial causing deed gives harms joy others speech
Any thought, speech or deed causing harms to other is 'sin' while anything which is beneficial for others... gives joy to others is 'virtue'.
along fall flies fly months ten
As flies the wind, as flies the mind, as fly the winged birds, so do thou, O embryo,. ten months old, fall along with the placenta! May the placenta fall down!
aid bull folks horns mighty rose thousand
The bull with a thousand horns who rose out of the sea, with the aid of him, the mighty one, do we put the folks to sleep.
divine infinite primal serve
O my mind, serve Him; He is the Primal Being, the Infinite Divine Lord.
flow flows purified purify shall waters
Purified the waters shall flow for our bodies; what flows off from us that do we deposit upon him we dislike, with a purifier, O earth, do I purify myself!
