It's tough. I'm trying to put a lot of stuff together in a short period of time.
I'm not playing baseball anymore after this. The game (isn't) fun anymore.
I feel good. I've been hitting for a while now. I'm comfortable. I'm just trying to get consistent.
I'm not thinking about the games yet. I want to be there with the guys. I can't wait to get home, to see the fans in San Francisco. I love the ballpark, the city, the fans. I feel I will play this season, but I don't know when.
I have to put everything in my first at-bat, all my energy.
You can't hurt me any more than you've already hurt me. I'm going to take it because there's so many people who depend on me.
I'm very anxious to get on the field,
I will never comment because I choose not to.
I'm just as nervous as anybody, thinking about, 'Am I going to be able to make it the whole game?
It's not unrealistic, but now it's just the time of how I recover.
As long as it goes over the yellow line, it doesn't matter. We've got to keep winning -- we're chasing (San Diego).
I'm still unsure of if and when I'll be able to come back this year. This has not changed in the past couple of weeks. I'm working hard on the bike and the elliptical machine, but I'm just not there yet. While I continue to progress, I do not want to push myself to come back sooner and ultimately jeopardize the health of my knee and suffer a setback. However, I still remain optimistic.
It's working real good. I hope it stays like that all year.
I never chased Hank to begin with. I just want to win championships. That's all I want to do. That's the only thing I'm playing for, the only thing that's keeping me going.
