bike changed continue couple hard health jeopardize knee past push remain sooner suffer ultimately unsure
I'm still unsure of if and when I'll be able to come back this year. This has not changed in the past couple of weeks. I'm working hard on the bike and the elliptical machine, but I'm just not there yet. While I continue to progress, I do not want to push myself to come back sooner and ultimately jeopardize the health of my knee and suffer a setback. However, I still remain optimistic.
harder time
I thought I would be a lot more sore, thought I'd have a lot harder time than I have. I'm pleased, because I'm not really that sore.

I have so much on my shoulders, so much weight on my back. Constantly climbing that hill is getting a lot harder and harder by the day. But I'm going to climb it, no matter what.

After that at-bat, I was spent, ... I got a little bit tired by the fifth inning. Your adrenaline is going so hard and everybody's cheering for you out there. The team is playing well and you're so hyped up.

Besides my kids being born and my wife being so supportive, he kind of really inspired me to come back, ... It was just really heart-warming to know this young kid was rooting for me and told me to keep my head up. Things that we say to young kids, this young man was saying the exact same thing to me. It just really motivated me to work harder and get back.

During the past 15 days, my knee has been feeling great, ... I was out on the track doing sprints, agility movements, throwing and exercises to help increase my stamina. Even with some fluid remaining, my knee has been handling the pressure and I've been able to work through it. My workouts continue to be positive and I feel that I'm getting closer to my goal of joining my teammates this season.

San Francisco is my home. That's the love of my life right there. Thinking that there could be a possibility, just hypothetically, to go somewhere else and DH or something like that, I really don't want to think about that at this time right now.
