Upon graduating from high School, Hill entered Bowling Green State University. During the summer of 2011, he was invited by Nike to help Taiwan men's basketball team as a consultant. neat remember thanksgiving
Here's what I really remember about Mike. On Thanksgiving he had us all over in Milan. We all had Thanksgiving at his apartment. It was just a neat day.

Finally, we planted our feet, defined ourselves and got the stops we needed. It's always good when you can hold off a team when you've got to make plays and you've got to make stops. I think that was significant.

Ray looks awful. Ray is not good. You could just look at him and tell he's sick without asking. We've got to get him to Miami and get him to bed and see if we can't get him ready to play (today).

Ray was on a mission. He had that proverbial scowl on his face. He got a little anxious midway through the fourth quarter. He was getting open. He did a good job of getting open the entire game.

The last two games, they've become a team. I think they deserved to win this game. It just didn't happen.

Our defense was clearly the best it's been all season long. We got a lot of points off our defense and that was pretty much it. We took care of business.

Since the trading deadline, this team has come together just like that. We've had five really good performances in terms of togetherness and effort, caring about one another and all of the stuff that's so darn important.

As I told him when I met him, I thought he should have started in Memphis. The great thing about him is he really doesn't care if he starts, he just wants minutes. He's got a great attitude for this team.

I have no worries that he will stay in shape. What can you do about the decision? You have to accept it. What are you going to do, sue the league? We have to move on.

Any time this has to happen, it's very hard on all of us. I grew very quickly into appreciating and being in Bob Weiss' presence every day.
