nice played solid
I thought he played a solid game, especially considering he's been off for some time. It was nice to have him on the ice again.
known stifle strong

ahead means reflect season stay
I just try to stay ahead of my age. It means a lot. I think these are all things you reflect on at the end of the season and at the end of your career.
blessing definitely disguise good healthy hopefully injuries players ready rest serious test time year
It definitely is going to test the depth. Hopefully these aren't serious injuries for these guys. Sometimes a little rest at this time of year can be a blessing in disguise for players like that. hockey years nhl
Over the years, Steve has come to understand I need the clicker. He says it's my security blanket.
summer past levels
When I signed this past summer, Lou Lamoriello, Jacques Lemaire, and I agreed that if we were unable to find a suitable fit in which I would be able to compete and contribute at the level I expect from myself, then I would simply step aside.
guy stuff way
I usually call the new guy and let him know where I like to sit on the bus, tell him ways he can stay out of my way, make sure he knows not to touch any of my stuff.
hockey thinking facts
I think he knows all my tricks. Or the fact I don't have any tricks
