I feel bad for Joey Harrington. I think he's taking a lot more heat than he deserves. He's a very simple, easy guy to point the finger at, and some people do it for good reason, other people just do it because they hear everybody else is doing it. That's not good.

Mike has been stressing driving to the net, ... Usually, he wants at least one guy driving to the net - and on that play we had all three. It was kind of a lucky play, where the Kings ' defenseman got a piece of the puck, but not all of it, and I happened to be in the right spot.

The hockey mentality is that when we're challenged, we grow tighter together. One player or two might speak out and it might reflect (poorly) on the union, but 99 percent of the union will band together.

I think the fact that referees are going to have consistent partners, and they're usually only going to work just one conference - they'll get more familiar with us and we'll get more familiar with them - we hope that improves your ability to predict what a referee will and will not call.

It is a sad day for hockey. It is a historic day, actually, ... He was one of the greatest pure goal scorers of all-time. He helped me a lot when I went to St. Louis, when I was about 21-years-old. He helped me get to another level just watching him in practice and learning from him in games.
