handled pressure proud talk week
I'm proud of the way they handled the pressure all week long. They responded just the way you wanted them to. This is a day for the players, so I'll let you talk to the players.
aware limit number total
I would like to limit the total number of reps for Deion -- which we do have to be aware of at 38 years old -- to the secondary.
addressing camp degree entire forward happened legacy looking move needs proud reason spent start sure team
I'm sure it does to a degree for the players, ... I know it does for me, but you don't start camp with that mentality. We've spent an entire offseason addressing and looking very candidly at why that happened and addressing the reason for it. This team needs to move forward very aggressively. We're very proud of the legacy we have here, but this team's going to have a new identity, it really is. It's different than any team we've had.
babe fence home pointing ruth
It was like Babe Ruth pointing to the fence before the home run.
advocate current definitive embarrass flag god instant internet johnny kids knows looking officials pictures red taking throw view
I don't know that Johnny wasn't looking at pictures of his kids in that little booth. I'm still an advocate of instant replay, but I've long been an advocate of taking it off the field. Let's take it upstairs. With the current system, I've got to expend a timeout, embarrass the officials and throw a red flag out on the field, let him go in and look at God knows what on the Internet and come out and tell me I didn't get a definitive view to overrule it.
accuracy tends throwing
He has the size, the accuracy and the throwing action. He's a spectacular talent, but he doesn't look like anybody. So that tends to make us all nervous.
stepped stop
They stepped up to stop the run. They were going to do it and they did brilliantly.
early plenty
He's here plenty early to make an impact.
operative question target variety wide
There's a wide variety of things we could do. The most operative question is, who would that be? We could target a lot of guys.
linger means
For them to linger as long as they did, which usually means they don't have irrefutable evidence, and then to come out and say there was no possession. I'm just done with it.
dynamic pass talent
You never pass up dynamic talent. Is he all you need? No. But I'll take it.
advanced ahead position
No one's position is advanced ahead of the other's,
optimum shape
That's all about getting him in his optimum shape for the opener,
anxious both football good kyle learned next saw three thrown
He went 23 of 39. If he were 21 of 37 and not thrown two of those passes, it would have been a (heck) of a day and a win. This is why I'm anxious to see the next three games. I learned and saw a lot in yesterday's game, both good and bad, not just about Kyle but about this whole football team.
