Billick spent nine seasons as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens from January 19, 1999 to December 31, 2007; he led the Ravens to a 34–7 victory over the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXXV, the franchise's first Super Bowl appearance. It is always disappointing to lose, especially the last game. You have to carry that with you the entire season. We did not have the intensity and could not match the momentum swing.

He's like no other quarterback in the league. That's what makes him so dynamic, ... There's so much they do at the line. They don't do a lot personnel-wise. They don't do a lot formationally. Everything he does, he calls the entire offense from the line basically.

I certainly wouldn't begin to speak for Tony. But when you become a head coach, it's amazing how quickly your mindset changes and you don't think of yourself as an offensive or defensive guy. You can't.
