group men moral prouder victories win
There are no moral victories in the NFL. You win or you lose. We lost, but I've never been prouder to be part of a group of men than these guys.
approach football holds isolate left rest stay team work year
When you're a 2-4 football team, you go back to work and you work your way through. That's what's left of this team right now, ... What the rest of the year holds for us, we'll find out and we'll see what that means. This team will stay together, it will work and it will try to isolate the way that we can get better. That's the only approach I know how to take at this point.
brain wow freak
So I hear they call you 'The Freak' Wow, that's quite a coincidence. They call me 'The Brain.'
new-york team mean
I told my team before we walked out on to the field in Tampa, I wanted them to stop and look each other in the eye - I mean really look each other in the eye because 10 minutes after we we're done beating the New York Giants, I knew that world would change; free agency, the business side of the business. I wanted them to appreciate this doesn't come very often. It may be the last time you have that opportunity.
group people thankful
As I have always said, I'm very thankful and appreciative to be part of an organization and a group of people that we have here.
god lessons teaching thank
Thank God it's still preseason, because there's lessons we've got to learn. We're still in the teaching mode.
gain lose people player step
Oh, it's huge, it's huge. But you gain some things when you lose a player of that caliber, because other people have to step up.
kyle
Make no mistake, Kyle is responsible for the way he reacted,
arbitrary careful diverse game group number passion personally players
As a coach, there are a lot of things, personally, I may or may not like or would not personally do - not necessarily may be my style, ... But you have to be very careful about inhibiting the passion for this game in an arbitrary way. I've got a very diverse group of players economically, socially, racially, geographically, with a number of different upbringings.
ankle hard high project
Hard to say. The high ankle sprain is always a concern. It would be ill-advised to project at this time.
ability effect force huge lewis reckoned run
Jamal Lewis is a force to be reckoned with. When it's all said and done, barring injuries, he will have a huge effect our ability to run the ball.
ahead brought changes credit deserve forward good jim needed work
Jim was brought in to make the changes that needed to be made schematically, emotionally, strategically and fundamentally for us to go forward in conjunction with some very good coaches. They collectively and Jim individually deserve all the credit for the improvements that we've seen. We've got a lot of work ahead of us.
dwight dynamic game outside player playing presence rush saw top tremendous
I saw a tremendous player in Dwight Freeney playing at the top of his game and as dynamic a presence on the outside rush as there is in the game.
fairly
I think we've done things fairly intelligently. We've rebuilt without drastically slipping back at any one point.
