games hockey home positive road trip ways win
We've got to find ways to win those games, no question. But it was a positive road trip for us. Now we've got to take it back home and win some hockey games.
goes good took tournament
I think we're getting better as the tournament goes on. For the most part, I thought we took it to them. ... I feel really good about our team.
continue hockey people players usa
We've got to get players into the system. We've got to find a way to continue to get some players into the system. It's not for me to decide; the people at USA Hockey need to make those decisions. But as a player, I think we have to look at the system.
board drawing obviously
We've obviously got to do better. We'll go back to the drawing board and see what we come up with.
effort mean
We didn't get our two points. 'A' for effort doesn't mean a whole lot if you don't get the win.
battle red watching wings
We were watching the Red Wings play, and you just can't do that. It's frustrating. We didn't battle tonight.
bear deserved game points power
We had opportunities. We could have snuck out of that game with two points -- not that we necessarily deserved it -- but we could have and we have to bear down on the power play and get it done.
cylinders hockey
We got to play near-perfect hockey and everybody's got to be going on all cylinders for us to win, and we weren't going.
against came fought four team
We fought back hard, but we can't give up four that quickly. We came out sleeping. Against a team that skilled, you just can't do it.
matter move next spend time
When you spend too much time in your own end, it's only a matter of time before you give up a goal. We just have to move on to the next game.
stepped
We stepped it up tonight, and if we do that we can be in it. We can make the playoffs.
battle came close including maybe night people playoff
When we came into the season, I don't think there were a whole lot of people who thought we were going to be close to a playoff position, maybe including the organization. We have to battle every night to get there. It's going to be tough, still. But we can be there.
breaks
We're making our breaks now. When we are all on the same page, we can play with anybody.
both ends everybody guys moves obviously saying stress
I'd like to think that I can play both ends of the ice, and I think that's something that they stress here, ... Obviously everybody is saying how we didn't make moves and all these things ... I feel like we have a lot of guys here that can play.
