Greenie's coming along faster than we thought. He's feeling pretty good with it, and he's got the OK to do just about everything.
base bigger hit hoping piece quite tie
Greeney, it doesn't get any bigger than that. You're just hoping to put one in play and get a base hit there to tie it. That's quite a piece of hitting.
charge hitting piece quite
(Greene) put a charge in it. That's quite a piece of hitting on an 0-2 pitch.
ball jumping power swing
He's got unbelievable power -- plus/plus power. You can see it coming. He's getting his swing down. The ball was really jumping off his bat. Look out for Italy.
against arm ball both brought damage gives good guy job nice played plays reason shot sides
He was a real shot in the arm when we brought him up. He's done some damage with the bat, with extra-base hits, and he's played nice outfield. He's a good athlete. He's a guy who plays both sides of the ball well. The job that he did when we brought him up, I think, was the reason why we did want him on this roster. It gives us more flexibility against left-handed pitching.
tried work
He tried to keep playing, but it didn't work out.
liked white
I always liked him when he was with the White Sox,
bothering information smart throwing
He was throwing well and we had no information that anything was bothering him. I don't think he was smart about it. I think he should have said something.

He's certainly pitching very well and making it difficult on what we're going to do.
accurately baseman coming great himself instincts pitch positions third throws
He has great instincts and feel for the game. He positions himself so well when the pitch is coming and has great reactions. And he throws as accurately as any third baseman I've seen.
