beckett chance gave great obviously quality ran top
Kam was outstanding. He gave us a great chance to win, but he ran into Beckett. Two big body, quality starters, and obviously Beckett was at the top of his game.
admiration frame great guys impatient mind season spot
They're an impatient group, and I say that with admiration. Mentally, our guys are in a great spot and a great frame of mind about what they want to get out of this season as individuals, and more importantly, as a team.
body great
He's got great stuff. How do you verbalize the presence, the moxie, the body language? He's got all of that.
ball bat centers great kevin power seeing starting strong swing
Kevin had a great spring. He started off slow, having a nagging injury, but he is starting to swing the bat well. He is seeing the ball well and centers the ball so well. Kevin is so strong that the ball has a lot of carry. He can just power the ball out of here.
great obviously pitcher ran top
The big thing was Curt Schilling, he was obviously on top of his game. We ran into a great pitcher today. It's disappointing.
great man people quick sharp special time
He's a special young man. He's sharp and has great people skills. He's a quick learner. J.D. will make the decisions, and most of the time he's been right.
concerned seem
They don't seem to be concerned about it that much.
capable continuing extend four good help nights pitching three
It was just not his night. Three out of four nights ... I'm not going to extend him there. He wasn't pitching as good as he's capable of. He's scuffling. There's no sense in him continuing to scuffle if I can help it.
feeding frenzy mound negative positive side spring throw
It's Spring Training. I know how that goes, ... First, you throw on the side and you get a positive or negative feeding frenzy. Then you throw off the mound and get a positive or negative feeding frenzy ... and when you're done, you throw all of it out the window. It's not just Chan Ho. It's everybody.
capable carried consistent doubt form gets good
It just hasn't carried over so far. It will be good for him to get consistent at-bats down there and get back to the form that we need him to be in, and he's capable of being in. There's not any doubt that if he gets it going like he's capable of, he could be back very soon.
bumps came few good proud
I was proud of the way he came back. He showed us some good things. He just had a few bumps in the road.
chance likes maybe might relief team thinks
He likes the relief role. Maybe he thinks he has a better chance of making the team that way, but he might want to think about that a little deeper.
tough
The hit-by-pitch hurt. It's tough to get him out anyway.
fine perfect physically
He's perfect to go. He's fine physically to go.
