capable continuing extend four good help nights pitching three
It was just not his night. Three out of four nights ... I'm not going to extend him there. He wasn't pitching as good as he's capable of. He's scuffling. There's no sense in him continuing to scuffle if I can help it.
drive five hit kenny line pitching until
Kenny was pitching well until he got hit by that line drive and he battled his way through five innings.
pitching unlike year
From a pitching standpoint, I'd like to see him get down there and get back on the horse, see him getting the ball. It's been unlike any year he has ever had in professional baseball. He's had to make a lot of decisions.
days eighteen hate innings pitching staff survive
As a team, you just try to survive them because you hate what it does to your pitching staff a lot of times. Eighteen innings in a day with no off days around it are tough.
help justin pitching
Justin will be in our bullpen. He's been pitching well and I told him that he's up here because we think he can help us.
along hitters mistakes pitches pitching
He was cruising along and pitching really well. He just made some mistakes with pitches and the hitters hit them.
adding attack depth game good job looking mistake pitching spring
It's always a game of adjustments. We make the mistake of looking at the end of spring with finality. You have to make adjustments. The organization has done a good job of adding depth to our pitching and we're going to attack that.
concerned seem
They don't seem to be concerned about it that much.
beckett chance gave great obviously quality ran top
Kam was outstanding. He gave us a great chance to win, but he ran into Beckett. Two big body, quality starters, and obviously Beckett was at the top of his game.
feeding frenzy mound negative positive side spring throw
It's Spring Training. I know how that goes, ... First, you throw on the side and you get a positive or negative feeding frenzy. Then you throw off the mound and get a positive or negative feeding frenzy ... and when you're done, you throw all of it out the window. It's not just Chan Ho. It's everybody.
capable carried consistent doubt form gets good
It just hasn't carried over so far. It will be good for him to get consistent at-bats down there and get back to the form that we need him to be in, and he's capable of being in. There's not any doubt that if he gets it going like he's capable of, he could be back very soon.
bumps came few good proud
I was proud of the way he came back. He showed us some good things. He just had a few bumps in the road.
chance likes maybe might relief team thinks
He likes the relief role. Maybe he thinks he has a better chance of making the team that way, but he might want to think about that a little deeper.
tough
The hit-by-pitch hurt. It's tough to get him out anyway.
