advantage climbs confidence gives opportunity plays runs team tight
There are always runs and spurts, and once we got it going we got a lot of confidence. I like it when a team plays tight because it gives me an opportunity to get by quicker. You have to take advantage of a team that climbs all over you.
country nation player post practice rather team
There is no other post player in the country I'd rather have on my team than Brooke. Now the whole nation can see what we see in practice every day.
bad doubling late pass people second team
We make that same play all the time. I was just a second too late and the pass was there. People have been doubling on that all season. It is what it is. I feel like I let the team down, but you're going to get bad calls.
adjusted awhile basketball beginning college knew point takes team
At the beginning of the year, having me at the '1' was better for our team, and now our team is better with me at the '2'. It takes awhile to get adjusted to college basketball and we all knew that if Ros could get secure, I wouldn't be (at point guard) all year.
cannot country great happy nation player post practice rather team
I cannot think of one post player in the country I'd rather have on my team than Brooke. I'm just really happy that the whole nation could see what we see in practice every day and what a great player she is.
awhile fine natural shake took
I think it?s really natural to have nerves, and it took us awhile to shake them off. But we were fine once we did.
capable excited move
I think it's really important that we move on from (Saturday). We are even more excited about (tonight) and I think if we do what we are capable of doing, we'll be fine.
knew missing open
We couldn't get more open shots, we were just missing them. I knew once we got rolling, it would be all right.
texas
I think my first realization of that was at Texas Tech.
knew stops
We knew that we could score. It was really about getting the stops that we needed.
found roles secure
We are making improvements every day, every practice. I think we've all found a rhythm. Our roles are secure now.
easy hard heart
We're doing all the hard things but we're not doing all the easy things. We need to rebound, play with heart and intensity. We can't just be a 20-minute team.
country great nation player post practice
There is no other post player in the country I would want on my team. Now the whole nation will get to see what we see in practice and that's how great she is.
adrenaline dizzy game nature sickness
I got a little dizzy before the game but by then it was too late. I think the competitive nature and the adrenaline outweighed any sickness or fatigue.
