dirt five local six stick track win
Don't stick around your local dirt track and win five or six championships in a row, ... because you won't go anywhere.
club context fan gave great helped
My fan club gave us a horseshoe and we mounted it on the toolbox. I think that really helped a lot. ... In context of the season, this is perfect. This is a great day for us.
fault messing winning
It was a winning car, and it's my fault for messing that up. You've just got to learn.
cup maybe roll win
Maybe if we can get us a win this weekend, we can get on the roll we need in the Cup Series, too.
both bunch cars gonna helped laps learn miles race racing running saturday series stock sunday track
Running both series helped me in a bunch of ways. The first thing is I just got to race more. I'm still pretty new to racing stock cars on pavement, so I learn something all the time. The other thing is that it's just fun. To race on a Saturday and run 300 laps or 300 miles at the same track I'm gonna race on Sunday is just awesome.
ended flying good job kyle race running saw sideways track underneath
I saw (Green) get sideways and go flying up the race track and I thought I could do a good job of going underneath him. I ended up running into the back of Kyle Petty.
allowing believe home tomorrow
I can't believe it, ... I wasn't allowing myself to even think of this, really. So, it's pretty cool. When I go home tomorrow it is going to be pretty neat.
greatest learning
I'm not the greatest qualifier, and I'm learning a lot,
cars driving expect fortunate time year
I just didn't expect our year to go this well, ... I think I have been very fortunate to be driving these cars at the time I am driving them.
cars contention couple fast flat focus front great hampshire improving lap last learned race reason run team time
I've learned a lot about New Hampshire over the last couple of races, ... It's flat and fast and I think I'm improving with every lap that I run there. We accomplished making the 'Chase' but now it's time to focus on going after the championship. We have a great team and great race cars so if we can run consistently up front I don't think there's any reason why we couldn't be in contention for the big prize.
saw sixth
I told them that if we could restart sixth or better, I thought we could win. That's how I saw my chances.
extremely start work
It's extremely disappointing. It's not how we wanted to start our season, but we'll just have to work harder.
accident balance caught close everyday mechanical pit problem season share speeding teams types worse year
I think from the outside, things look worse than they are. But those of us on the teams and working on it everyday know how close we have all been to having a completely different season up to this point. You get in an accident that wasn't your fault. Or get caught speeding down pit road. Or have a mechanical problem that wasn't really anyone's doing. Every team is going to have their share of those types of things before the year is over with. If it does, then everything will balance out, and we'll be back in it in no time.
power win
If we've got race-winning power, we're going to go win the race. If we don't, we're going to just not wreck.
