bunch cars helped laps learn race racing run saturday stock sunday track
It helped me a bunch of ways. The first thing was I got to race more. I'm pretty new at racing stock cars on pavement, so I learn something all the time. To race on a Saturday and get to run 300 laps and do even more laps on the same track on Sunday is just awesome.
apologize behind car ended guy people petty running stopping worried
I just have to apologize to Petty Enterprises. I should have been more worried about stopping my car than people from behind running into me. I ended up being the guy that got Kyle.
apologize everybody petty terrible
I just have to apologize to Petty Enterprises and everybody on the 45 car. It is a terrible day.
cars driving expect fortunate time year
I just didn't expect our year to go this well, ... I think I have been very fortunate to be driving these cars at the time I am driving them.
bottom came dove flipped green hoping kyle position
I hadn't been in that position before. I was hoping Kyle is OK. I thought Green flipped over because we went in the smoke, so I just dove to the bottom and Kyle came down.
excited front greatest learning race run start
I'm not the greatest qualifier and I'm learning a lot. I'm really excited to get to start up front in a race that we really need to run well in.

absence assured current evolve extremely fair future knowing means practice price public scrutiny system taxpayer whether work
In the long haul, the absence of any public scrutiny means the practice in the future could evolve into one that is an extremely uncompetitive, behind-the-scenes give away of work with the taxpayer not knowing whether a fair price is being paid. The current system may have flaws, but at least the public is assured of a competitive price.
beginning cup eighth expect far goal happy million points pole primary race reasons sitting somebody until week whoever year
If you would have told me at the beginning of the year we'd have two Cup wins, a pole and be sitting eighth in points so far with one race to go until the 'Chase' I'd have said, 'Man, you've got somebody else'. I just didn't expect our year to go this well. Our primary goal this week is to make the 'Chase'. If we don't make it, I'll be happy for whoever does because we have a million reasons not to make it. But we really want to make it and I think we can.
million nobody picked start top
I never thought in a million years we'd be in the top 10 of this deal. Nobody would have picked us to be here at the start of the year.
fun
Hey, man, if it was all easy, it wouldn't be as much fun when you win.
