Well, we didn't allow any first downs in the second half. That's pretty impressive. It was a great job by the defense. They only gave up a couple of big runs. Other than that, they really didn't give up much else.

We need to score touchdowns and not settle for field goals in the fourth quarter. That's the type of things we've talked about and that we've used from last year's game and applied to other situations the past 12 months.

Jeep is another excellent all-around football coach, having coached on both sides of the ball in his career. He has recruited extensively in the Southeast, another key asset for our program. We think Jeep's knowledge of the running game and passing game will add to our package.

Obviously, I'm very happy to be here. When I came here, my expectation was to finish my career at Georgia Tech, and this is a big step in that direction.

He was finding the creases in the defense and (Brett) Ratliff was doing a good job of getting him the ball. If you're a competitor, it makes you mad. It makes you realize how much work you've got to do to get where you want to be.

What that makes us do is be great tacklers. If they want to get the ball out before you get there, they can get the ball out, but that means they're not getting the ball very far down the field.
