He tore the kid's confidence apart. It was tough for him to recover. ... The kid has unbelievable talent.
He took himself out, but I wanted him to stay in. I wanted him to keep trying to make them. We'd get the stops on the other end. We've got each other's backs.
He's a guy who can score anywhere on the court. He passes. He plays great defense,
I'm excited to have the USA across my chest. I'm glad they thought I was capable enough to regain our dominance. So I am proud of that, and I am definitely looking forward to it.
I'm proud of that. To be able to set a record like that, it just doesn't happen.
I just wish that we had something where like after the game I got to talk about what happened down the stretch, why I did this or that. I wish we had something where the refs had to do it and explain what happened and why they did this and that. It just ain't fair, man.
I'm sure they get up to play us. Anytime you have the best team in the league coming into your building, you know that's the case.
I'm sure he was probably a little frustrated. When you're a good team, you expect to win, and when you don't, you do something you might not be prone to doing.
He almost carried us to a victory last night, and he did it tonight. He's just playing great basketball right now.
He's one of the great ones, and the great ones make it easy for everybody. When he's rolling, everybody has easy shots and everybody gets the shots they want because they have to gear their defense to stopping him. They have to shift their whole focus.
It's unbelievable. I knew we were going to get off to a good first half, but I didn't think we were going to be this good.
That's the first time he's seen us in a tough, tough grind and seeing how we really win games, ... He'll learn more as we get in these tough grinds, he'll learn more about what we've been telling him.
That's one of the biggest differences with this team. We can get out in transition to hurt you.
That run we went on was so fun and so unbelievable, we let our guard down and thought it would be easy.
