given guys likes sees strong strongest unusual
He's been given a lot of God-given talent, but he's really motivated. He likes to be the best. It's how he sees himself. And he's got an unusual body. He's strong as hell. He's one of the strongest guys in the league.
bigger control easily guys harder memorable player precision quick routes running smaller throws work
There aren't going to be very many memorable routes by big receivers, ... Most of them are quick throws to them, slants, or down the field. A smaller player is much more easily able to control his body, so the bigger guys have to work harder at the precision of running routes.
deal time until
We made the decision, but we're not going to make an announcement until it's time to play the ballgame. We're not going to make a big deal about it.
against exactly extra gets giants healed next run tests work
He gets an extra day to work against the Giants next week, so he'll run some extra tests and see if things are healed exactly the way they (team doctors) want him to.
frustrated holes needs run tremendous wants
He needs some blocking. A back has to have holes to run through. He has exceptional speed, and he has tremendous ambition, and he wants to do well. He's frustrated, but nobody's more frustrated than me.
catch produced schedule stay
We just haven't produced very much (on offense). I think that we just have to stay on schedule and have everyone catch up.
across continue good players strategic
We're not going to tell you what it is because I think that is a disadvantage for us. But there are some very good players out there across the board, and we've always been very strategic in approach, so we'll continue to do that.
equal football great happen happens helps hope matter million money proven share spend spending super teams television win yankees
But that's what's great about this league. Teams like us have hope every year. Football is different from baseball. We share television revenues. That helps equal things out. Plus, it's never been proven that the more money you spend will help you win a Super Bowl. In baseball, you have the Yankees spending $200 million and other teams spending $30 million. That won't happen in football, no matter what happens with the CBA. That's why we're different. That's why teams like us have a chance.
guys hands opinion type
I'm an 'all hands on deck' type guy. All of the guys who can play in my opinion should play.
defend people
If we can make people defend the pass, if that's what we need to do run, then that's what it may be.
ball cross officials plane replay took
I don't know what took the officials so long, but the ball did not cross the plane on the first replay I saw.
against ball chance consider defense fashion felt guys hurt negative officials takes yelling
Guys disagreed with some of the calls. Guys felt that the play they could have made they didn't get a chance to make because of the defense that was against them, ... and (they) reacted in what I would consider a negative fashion because it takes you out of your ball game. You can't be yelling at the officials and all those other things, so I think it hurt us. But it was that kind of a ball game.
covering happens himself pick smart
He's a little rusty, which happens when you're not covering guys, but I think he'll pick it up and get himself into game-type condition. He's a smart guy, and he'll pick it up quick.
saw until
He didn't get in. I thought he was in until I saw the replay.
