ricky search whether worry
Ricky will search for a shot, you don't have to worry about that, whether he's making it or not.
last nine stop took trips year
Last year was horrendous. We had to stop and refuel. Those trips took nine and 10 hours.
guard sure surprised
I would play him right away. 'There you go. Guard somebody.' And he can do that. I'm sure he'll play. I'd be surprised if he didn't.
asked good somebody
Somebody asked me, 'How many times are you going to do this. As many as it takes. It's good for the guys, but not for me.
maybe offense run
So maybe sometimes we can run the offense through him at the 2.
improve obviously team veteran whenever
Obviously whenever you can improve your team you're going to do that -- with a veteran or a young guy. But we're in games.
heads
When Wally went down, you could tell everyone's heads went down a little bit, too.
bunch games lost shots time winning
It was about time one of those went for us. We've lost a bunch of games on shots like that. Now, of late, we are winning them and things like that are going our way.
best change changed coverage defensive eight four last normally san seven team three
San Antonio is the best defensive team in the last seven or eight years. They don't normally change things, but they changed their (defensive) coverage three or four times in that game. It didn't work, unfortunately.
calm deserved felt last owed played
Another calm night. I think we deserved that one after the last two times that we played them. We felt we stole this one tonight. But we felt they stole two from us, so we owed them that one.
basketball deserves far hell tim
Duncan deserves everything he gets, as far as I'm concerned. It's frustrating guarding Tim Duncan even if they think he's not getting the calls. He's a hell of a basketball player.
games good hang lost road scenario tough
(The win) was huge. You know going out on the road having lost two tough ones (if we lost this one) would not have been a good scenario for us. At least we know we can hang in games and win.
guys rich wealthy win
The rich get richer. It's always the wealthy guys that win those games.
floor great middle player shot sideline stay
I wanted him to stay more in the middle of the floor because we thought if he went to the sideline they would be able to double. And they actually did, and he still got the shot off. That was just a great player making a great shot.
