Marko had 40-something games to get it done, and we were below .500. I feel very good that I gave Marko more than a fair chance with the starting position.

Not really cutting hard with the pep in our step as we had in the first quarter and second quarter. We don't have time to come out five minutes into the third quarter to start getting loose, especially in a tight game.

Our trend the whole year has been developing a rhythm in the first quarter. Then once (Kevin Garnett) comes out we kind of get off kilter.

I don't think they blew by us once in a pick-and-roll situation. Where in the past couple games, they've had a smorgasbord, tonight he did an excellent job of containing that, stopping that and really executing our defensive schemes.

I hope he sees that we're giving him an opportunity. He's got a lot of respect within the organization from our coaches. I think he's everything we would need. We have a big point guard in Marko. And we would need a guy like himself and A.C. as far as a pit bull-type mentality defensively, and offensively being able to go where he wants to go with the basketball.

That was a turning point in our season. I think it took a little starch out of us.

Same story in the third quarter, we had a tough third quarter, execution-wise and scoring-wise. They went on a 14-point run. I think we had a lead almost every game on this road trip in the first half. In the third quarter, I don't know where we go to. We go stagnant in the third quarter.

Right now it's not balanced. It's going to be tough to play four point guards.
changes players sign surprised though volatile
That's our business. That's what we sign up for. That's what the players sign up for. We're all pros. It's a volatile business. Even though you're surprised at the moment, it's not earth-shattering. There will be more changes before the year's over. We know that.
