Elwyn Brooks "E. B." White was an American writer. He was a contributor to The New Yorker magazine and a co-author of the English language style guide The Elements of Style, which is commonly known as "Strunk & White". He also wrote books for children, including Stuart Little, Charlotte's Web, and The Trumpet of the Swan. The cool thing is that these are young professionals who are developing their careers, who will be driving, flying and taking a bus to Columbia from all parts of the country to spend a weekend here. So I hope Columbia, like we do with almost everything, rolls out the proverbial red carpet and welcomes these young professionals.
Just about anything anybody can use, we give out free from toilet paper on up. I feel like God sent me here. Jerry helped me raise my four kids when I lived in Longview Place and St. John's Lutheran School was nearby.
