We're one of the highest rated shows on television for males between 18 and 34.
Even though the Swans have been there for over 20 years now and really built up a loyal following, AFL on television does not attract the sort of audiences we would like, ... We would just have got killed if we went in any earlier. We are putting it on at 10pm, which is not what I would call late, but we would get hammered if we put it on live.
We stand or fall by television.
Television should be our Lyceum, our Chautauqua, our Minsky's and our Camelot.
Television will enormously enlarge the eye's range, and, like radio, will advertise the Elsewhere. Together with the tabs, the mags, and the movies, it will insist that we forget the primary and the near in favor of the secondary and the remote.

That doesn't mean you surrender. You keep playing because it's going to be a game where you earn every one of your yards. Games like this are games of persistence, games of trusting yourself, and knowing it's not going to look pretty all the time, but you have to keep banging away.
It is not at all surprising that with the clumsy handling of the Yukos situation we started to see production falls last October. But now as things are getting back to normal we may see a production recovery back on track.
It is not often that you have a classmate in Hollywood and you get to have a reunion out here.
It is an honor to have Tom Daschle join our Board. We will benefit tremendously from Tom's insight and experience with economic issues, international affairs and other issues. He will be an asset to our Board as we continue to grow our real estate services franchise on a global basis.
