believe best coming glad league playing state teams
I'm really glad to get out of here with a win, ... I thought it was a hard-fought game. I said coming in that I thought N.C. State was really going to be one of the best teams in our league and I really believe that after playing them.
against burst couple guy helps run team
We thought with Marcus against a team like Miami, you get a guy who can really run it and it helps you some at that quarterback position. I think Marcus showed you that a couple of times, with a burst there and a couple big first-down plays.
bit bring good great open
I think Glennon does have a little bit of an edge. It's an open thing and we want to see some good competition. I think all our quarterbacks bring something to the table. It should be a great competition.
bit great half three time unsure
It's the first time through for him, and he's a little bit unsure of some things, and I think you can see that a little bit on video. When we recruited him, I thought he was going to be a great player, and now that we've had him for three weeks, three and a half weeks, I know he's going to be a great player.
best football good great needed offensive talked team tight
I think in the long run, this is what needed to happen, ... We think this is what's best for our football team and for the player. We talked about it for some time. In the end, we think he's going to be a great offensive tackle. He was a very good tight end, but we think he's going to be a great offensive tackle.
believe best hopefully national players statement virginia
I made this statement many times. If we can just get the best players from the state of Virginia and keep them here at Virginia Tech, then I really believe we'll play for a national championship, and we've been able to do that once and hopefully we can get back to that game.
best playing teams whether
I think the best two teams are going to end up playing for it, whether it's us or not,
best gets people time within
He has to get some things done. When he gets them done, we'd like to get him back on the program. It's a real important time for him. At the same time, we have to do what's best for him and the people within our program. That's just the way it is.
best certainly football team wish
I'm very disappointed that this didn't have a better ending. We wanted what's best for this football team and Marcus. I certainly wish him the best.
best chance job national players took virginia
The day I took the job here, I said if we keep the best players in Virginia at Virginia Tech, we'll have a chance to play for the national championship,
best group
I've said it before, that this is the best group of kickers that we've ever had.
best booming group kicking nic pace solid
This is the best group of kickers that we've ever had. It's our kickoff guys, (Jared) Develli and (Jud) Dunlevy, they're kicking it in the end zone. Brandon Pace has been solid as a rock, and Nic Schmitt is booming them.
running
It was just my imagination, once again, running away with me.
bit leadership needs senior
I want his senior leadership with us, but I think he needs just a little bit more time,
