blossoms lotus love loves
O mind, love the Lord, as the lotus loves the water. Tossed about by the waves, it still blossoms with love.
balanced dwell inner longer praise shall state
O mind, dwell in the balanced state of your own inner being. Praise the Lord's Name, and you shall no longer come and go in reincarnation.
grant guru life please sanctuary shower
O Lord, Life of the World, please shower me with Your Mercy; grant me the Sanctuary of the Guru
arise born hold lofty realize shall themselves vast
Some come, and some arise and depart. They give themselves lofty names. Some are born beggars, and some hold vast courts. Going to the world hereafter, everyone shall realize that without the Name, it is all useless.
call mere
Some call him a ghost; some say that he is a demon. Some call him a mere mortal;
cleaned dirty jewel mind spiritual
When the mind is cleaned with the jewel of spiritual wisdom, it does not become dirty again.
bond fills hungry king man rain
When the king makes a demand, and it is met, the bond is established. When the hungry man eats, he is satisfied, and the bond is established. In the famine, the rain fills the streams to overflowing, and the bond is established.
enjoy husband passes youth
When the Husband does not enjoy His bride, then her youth passes away in vain.
again chase leave shall
one shall have to leave maya in an instant, but again and again, one chase after it.
beat sorts
One may beat upon and play all sorts of instruments, but no one will listen, and no one will enshrine it in the mind.
