one does not even know how long you will stay here; you have no hint of when you shall leave

No one is mine, and I am no one else's. The True Lord and Master of the three worlds is mine.
dishes last lights offers rice
No one offers the rice dishes at their last rites, and no one lights the lamps for them.
anyone four king pulled save saved true
No one else can save you - don't look for anyone else. I have searched in all four directions; I have come to find His Sanctuary. O Nanak, the True King has pulled me out and saved me from drowning!
becomes immaculate lord serves
One who serves the Immaculate Lord becomes immaculate.
guru practices recognizes truth
One who recognizes the Guru practices Truth; why should he be afraid?
destiny essence flavor forehead lord name satisfied sublime written
One who obtains the Sublime Essence of the Lord is satisfied and fulfilled. One who obtains this Flavor of the Lord does not waver. One who has this destiny written on his forehead obtains the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
becomes self
One who merges his own self into Him understands, and so becomes pure.
entire known lives sins
One who lives righteously is known as righteous; one who commits sins is known as a sinner. You Yourself enact the entire play, O Creator.

One who has no Guru, dies over and over again, only to be re-born.
friend grasped robe true
One who has grasped the hem of the robe of the Lord, the True Friend - no one can keep him in bondage.
anywhere forgets name rest shall
One who forgets the Name in this world, shall not find any place of rest anywhere else
cheated evil husband lord meet remember shall ugly weep
One who does not remember her Husband Lord in this world is being cheated by duality; she shall weep bitterly in the end. She is from an evil family; she is ugly and vile. Even in her dreams, she does not meet her Husband Lord.
self truly
One who contemplates his own self is truly wise.
