After their death, where will they be sent? The sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage give them no place of protection, and no Brahmin will eat their food. They remain polluted forever, day and night; they do not apply the ceremonial tilak mark to their foreheads. They sit together in silence, as if in mourning; they do not go to the Lord's Court.

After wandering through many other homes and houses, I have returned to my own home, and I have found what I was longing for.
account intellect
The intellect is a bird; on account of its actions, it is sometimes high, and sometimes low.
blessed coins obtain vision
The counterfeit coins are not put into the Treasury; they do not obtain the Blessed Vision of the Lord-Guru.
creator guru mistakes
Everyone makes mistakes; only the Guru and the Creator are infallible.
calls estimate god greatest greatness lord master says speaking true
Everyone says that God is the Greatest of the Great. No one calls Him any less. No one can estimate His Worth. By speaking of Him, His Greatness is not increased. You are the One True Lord and Master of all the other beings, of so many worlds.

Everyone belongs to the One who rules the Universe.
Who else is there? You alone, Lord, You alone.
ask coming gift name others sing subject true wondrous yours
It is of You, O my True and Wondrous Lord, that I sing forever. Yours is the True Court. All others are subject to coming and going. Those who ask for the gift of the True Name are like You.
cannot liberation serving true
That which is pre-ordained cannot be erased. O Nanak, without serving the True Guru, liberation is not obtained.
cannot express glorious lord praises purified sinners
Lord has purified the sinners in an instant;one cannot express His Glorious Praises
god himself humble pity takes
God Himself takes pity on His humble servants, and makes them His own.
good karma meets perfect speech whose
Through the perfect karma of good deeds, one meets the Perfect Guru, whose speech is perfect.
