I think they realized what type of football team we are,
John's on the phone with me for 20 minutes trying to explain what (Lucas) was trying to say,
Just keep believing, men. Now we've got to get on a roll.
Kevin's trying to do a lot of things in the right manner, and you have to really allocate your time when the season starts,
You have to do something to get better.
you don't change an offensive tackle or a center or a tight end and get a spark.
You just got to keep working, try to win a game, make yourself feel better,
Whether he gets in this week or next week, he is going to get into the ball game. I know that I owe him that, and what he did for us coming back.
We can't get anybody involved in the offense because we can't protect the quarterback,
When it happens you have to make sure your character is strong and your integrity of how you're doing thing stays intact. I won't change my character and my integrity because I know what I'm doing is right.
Our mindset was to get him in the game to kick field goals and he did that,
Our mind-set was to get him in the game to kick field goals, and he did that.
That was something that might not have been as special to him as it was to all of us, he's not that kind of guy. He's about the team, that's what makes him so unique.
I think players in the league recognize that and he'll have a great opportunity this year.
