I had an amicable chat yesterday (Wednesday) and he said there were other clubs were interested. I made him an offer and gave him a deadline, but I've pulled out now.

Can't be sure. Players are human. It's got to bother you, just like it would bother anybody else. We just try to address it early so it won't be a distraction.

I was not going to go just anywhere. The stability of the program appealed to me. Dan is the dean of the Big 12 coaches and has done a great job retaining his coaching staff despite all the success ISU has experienced.

Obviously, we're glad they're here and looking at us. We hope they find that we are a good fit for their conference. Joining a conference, that's obviously our goal.
