We have a lot of talent on the perimeter to withstand a blow like that, but without Lester and his talent, drive and competitiveness, it's going to hurt.

It feels good when people recognize the efforts that we're working for, but at the same time it's not something I say, that I want to be Big Ten player of the week. I just go out there and play and try to win and whatever happens happens.

I'm glad we got the win before we go into Dallas. Now everybody's equal again. We've got a chance to just play and we've got a chance to get some more W's. We need to capitalize on the opportunity to play again.

I don't think anybody in the country has had to face the adversity we've faced. Coming here as freshmen, going through the sanctions and the injuries and everything. People have said things we've done good as well. But we've faced more adversity than anybody in the country and to still be standing here able to play for a championship at the end says a lot about who we are as people.

At the beginning of practice, the coaches would be off to the side talking about what we needed to work on, and Albert would be leading the stretching exercises. He is a natural-born leader.

It's guys in there we know who have been through it before, who have worked hard every day for four years. We have each other's backs out there. It's not that we don't know that with the other guys, but you feel it a little more when it's a guy you've been on campus with since Day One.

It's tough to put it into words, but I know we battled, we battled as a team. The one thing I do know is that despite losing tonight, after everything we've been through as a program, no matter what people say and no matter what people do, this program is going to continue to move forward. I feel that in my heart.
