It was fun to compete; I generally don't have a lot of fun losing, but this was a whole lot of fun playing. This is incredible.

My defense has definitely gotten a little better. My serve's gotten a little stronger. That first set was definitely not his best tennis and I didn't expect that to continue but sometimes it's tough to pick your game up when someone has such a bad set and then they pick their game up, ... I really didn't want it to go to three sets because I knew how well he was starting to play and he can really get rolling. It was a great match and a great tiebreaker at the end.
I know I'm not in a Hollywood script, otherwise I probably would have won a lot more this year. I've always known I had a chance to go deep in a major or go and win a tournament and play with these guys because I can put together a good set here, a good match there. I don't think of it as fate or anything. I think it's a lot of hard work.
