constantly continue great improve next roles sticking trying
You're never perfect. But you're always trying to play great defense, do things right, and you have to continue to do it on the next play and the play after that. It's also about sticking with roles and principles. We're getting better at it in some areas, but it's something you constantly want to improve at.
carrying great playing practice
Antonio's been playing great in practice and it's been carrying over into games.
couple eight four good great loss minutes played
He played so good the other day (during Friday's 65-61 loss to Seton Hall). He had 11 assists. He started out great with the passing. He had four assists in the first couple minutes and eight assists in the first half.
floor grab running says somewhat
He was somewhat light-headed and dizzy, but he battled through it. He wasn't running the floor like he usually is able to, but he still managed to grab 20 rebounds. That says a lot about him as a player.
adversity foul good played shots throughout
I thought we battled, we played hard, we got through some adversity with the foul trouble. We made some shots at the end but we didn't make them consistently throughout the game. They're a good team, but we need to play better.
contain great tough tried
He is a great shooter, so you have to make him take tough shots. We tried to contain him, and to do that you've got to make them tough.
hitting zone
I thought we'd see a lot more zone than we did. It got down to our penetration and Carl hitting those 3s. Our penetration was good, especially when they went man-to-man.
deserved disrespect energy played
The energy was there in our preparation for St. John's. I'm not going to say anything to disrespect them. They played hard, they played well, they deserved to win.
battle former great guys key tough
He's a great player, a tough kid, a former McDonald's All-American. The key is we have tough guys who can battle down low, and we're deep, so we can keep rotating guys in to play him very physical.
amazing came feeling fine free happy
It came down to free throws. It's amazing how it's such a fine line. It's amazing how one little thing can go from making you feel happy to feeling disappointment.
defended half offense played
In the first half we played very well, we defended very well, which got our offense going.
teams
Teams lose. It's how you respond, and we've always responded well.
tribute
It's a tribute to what we've accomplished here.
league matter playing seem
They seem to be playing well. But it didn't matter who we were going to be playing, we were going to be playing someone good. Everyone in the league is playing well right now.
