bit couple deal factor gotten great help helped lane stepped top tried
He may have gotten a little bit tired, but I thought he was a factor for us, because he could go get the basketball. I thought he helped us a great deal defensively a couple of times. He stepped way out and tried to give us help on Paul, so he couldn't have the lane to get on top of the basket.
guys hungry job responsibility sure takes team tougher toughness whatever
I had said it would be a big disappointment if the team didn't make the playoffs. I'm not sure that we have enough guys that are hungry enough to want to be in the playoffs. The toughness to be able to get there sometimes doesn't show up. I take responsibility for that. That's my job to make them tougher or whatever it takes for them to be able to play.
coach shoes
If they told me to take my shoes off, I'd coach barefoot,
obvious
I don't know what's going on. (But) it's very obvious something's going on.
break concept executing guys hard instead shoot team time touch
Guys are not getting enough shots. Shoot every time they touch it. Instead of executing the play, they break every play down. It's pretty hard to have any kind of team concept with that.
head shoulders
He's got his head on his shoulders pretty well.
good practice terrific worker
He's been terrific. He's been a terrific worker in practice and a good person to his teammates, and I think those things are very important.
confidence confident floor fought great grew guys knowledge level spell threw time watched
He's a very confident guy, but I probably got into his confidence level a little bit. The important thing to me was he fought threw that little spell we had and his confidence grew and grew. He can see a lot of things on the floor not many guys can see. I've been around a long time and watched a lot of different guys play this game. He has great knowledge of basketball.
ball bit hesitates needs shoot
He just needs to shoot the ball when he's open. When he's done that, he's fine. When he hesitates a little bit on it, he has a little bit of a problem.
ball kept throw
He kept us under control, and didn't throw the ball away. He had one turnover . . . That's what we need, so we can get into an offense.
almost anyone burn fought
Greg didn't burn any bridges, ... Greg and I fought almost every day (but) I apologized to Greg more than anyone I've ever coached.
determined guys played rather
Guys played a lot harder. They played a lot more determined to try to win, rather than the way we have been.
guy happy looking mean trade wants
He was the one that really wanted to be traded. I mean I wasn't looking to trade the guy. But if a guy wants to get out and is probably not happy here, what else can you do?
confidence pass shoot trying wants whatever
He has confidence to go where he wants to go, to get us into whatever we're trying to do. He's a passer first. He'll pass first and shoot second.
