I think it's been pretty good for most of our guys here because they got a chance to play some. They're not playing garbage minutes. We're trying to win ballgames with them.

I just feel it is important for a guy if he is struggling, especially younger guys, to know what it's like, on their own. Not run to them every minute. Let them fight through it. He did that. That's why I admire what he did. I think it'll be good for him 10 years down the line.

I've always been impressed with what he's able to do. He's just gone through some tough times. Some players do and some players don't. I think those tough times are good for him.

They played back-to-back games and four games in five days and, for them, there wasn't going to be any difference between the fourth game (and the first). You just don't get tired if you're in good shape.

I thought our guys were playing hard tonight. I really thought we were playing hard. Dallas gets to it and they get whatever they want and go inside and really take it to you. I thought he (Palacio) played pretty well. He played defense well, which is tough no matter which of those guys you put him on. The important thing is we did a good job of keeping them on top of the basket and made them shoot over the top of us.

I was beginning to wonder. You don't get yourself better by playing at half-speed. You've got to get yourself going so you get into a good rhythm and you don't get hurt. That's how you avoid injuries. Playing this game casually, you can really get hurt.

It gives him a tremendous advantage, because good players have the ability to do different things. Teams can scout you, but that scouting report doesn't do you much good if you tend to play (defense) just one way.

You've got to get close enough to him to foul him. I wouldn't feel very good about myself if a guy scored a lot of points and I didn't use my fouls to try to stop him.

I don't know if it's good or bad, but we kind of gave him the starting job. He didn't really earn it. He'll be just fine. It's good for him to see different things and for us to see how he works through it, how he fights back.

I think they've always been fairly responsive. Everybody has their own way of playing and everybody has their strengths. In order to get 12 guys happy in that situation, it's kind of difficult at times to do. But I think for the most part they've done a pretty good job.

People think it's pretty easy, but it's pretty difficult. A year ago, this team just kept going farther and farther down. They didn't step up and try to make a change. We were 11-21, I think, a year ago and the next game didn't matter probably.
