Darrel Mitchell is without question the most valuable player in the SEC in my opinion. He is the most consistent player. Other guys may have had better games, but he has good game and after good game and has not had an off night yet.

Darrel's been very good at getting shots in transition. When he gets it on an outlet pass, he is so fast. He can make a three on the dead sprint or if you go out on him, he'll go right by you and take it to the hole. I would hate to have to guard Darrel Mitchell, especially the way he was playing in the first half.

I don't think there's a more consistent player in the league. Our team has the presence to go to him when we need to.

I have watched him work every day on his game in some shape or form, ... He doesn't just do it two or three days a week, and his ultimate goal isn't to help us win a bunch of games here at LSU. It's to play at the next level. All those things combined are going to make him a great player.

Our focus wasn't there. It was kind of a workmanlike win. It was a win, but I've never seen us miss that many easy buckets. It was a win.
