argue stack
Can't argue those two. But I think we stack right up there with those guys.
exam looking react
He was pretty placid during the whole exam. He didn't even react to the injection. You can see in the exam picture, he's not even looking back to see what's going on.
left time
But there's not a lot of time left (in the season), so I don't know yet what it means.
hung swung
They hung tough, they swung it, they make you pay.
atom balls hit mickey ton trying
Aaron's hit a lot of atom balls. He's hit a ton of balls hard. But he's scuffling, and he and Mickey are just trying to see if they can 'load him up' a bit.
arm corner couple gone gotten nice second spin stretching throws
He's gone into the corner a couple times pretty good, made a couple nice spin throws to second base. I can see his arm has already gotten better. He's stretching it out a little bit. He's doing OK.
commands respect
His presence, that's a big boy. He commands respect that way.
hits night reed three
He (Rios) wasn't benched (yesterday), he wasn't going to play (yesterday), ... Reed (Johnson) got three hits the night before and that's why he's in right.
mets rid
He was outstanding. I still don't know why the Mets got rid of him.
held manager players problem rise ultimately
Expectations rise and players have to go out there and perform, but ultimately the manager is the one held responsible. But I like that. I've got no problem with that.
command
His command is there. That is a big thing of his and he has it early.
head holding
Not one bit. Not the way we played. You play 162 games. They all hurt, but we'll go out of here holding our head high. I'll tell you that.
arguably fit good rookie starting talented tremendous
He's a good hitter, and he's having a tremendous September. He could arguably be the Rookie of the Year, and he should be here for a long time. He's starting to fit in; he's very talented -- and clutch.
bats key since swinging
The key is we're really swinging the bats well. We have been since Day 1.
