added careless couple deserve errors good great guys half handled minnesota noise nose offensive second tackle
I thought those guys battled. They did some good things. Minnesota has a very good front. They've added a great nose tackle (Pat Williams) from Buffalo. ... I thought (our offensive line) handled the noise at times pretty good. I thought we had some careless errors - a couple of penalties, particularly in the second half - but those guys deserve a lot of credit.
alone believe blinding coach downs game giving great head helped means passion proud talks
He's helped me get better as a head coach and he's got great energy. He's in great shape. The game means a lot to him. First downs mean a lot to him. He doesn't like giving up inches, let alone yards. He still has a blinding passion and believe me, he's very proud of his roots. I know he talks about this place all the time, and I just wanted to come back and see it with my eyes.
decided playing status
His status will be decided upon later, but he ain't playing in this game,
beaten concern damn jets talking win
I don't give a damn what we are, ... Donovan McNabb is questionable and they're talking about him having surgery. No, if the guy's able to play, you play. We've got to win games. We haven't beaten the Jets in 20 years. I've got a lot of concern with this game.
easy learn
He showed growth, ... It is not going to be an easy process, but there are going to be some things he did learn from.
accustomed bombs extra france good holder last process roll time
Thirty-one of 31. The last time I checked, that's pretty good. I think, too, having been in Europe, getting accustomed to a new holder is a process in itself. . . . And France is on a roll right now. These aren't just extra points. Some of these are bombs from 44-, 48-, 50-yard area. He's been good from all the hashes.
type
It was always a square-fist-in-the-mouth type of game.
france talking todd
I've never really been comfortable (enough) with hamstrings to even comment. Every one of them is them, especially when you are talking about your kicker. So, we'll keep Todd France on the roster, and we feel very, very comfortable with him going into Carolina.
cusp dominate everybody great teams
They dominate everybody I've seen, ... They're on the cusp of being one of the great teams in football.
drafting fit players system trying
Monte's been here and had his system in place for some time, ... It's a one-gap scheme, and they've been drafting players that fit it. We're trying to do that on offense.
background college great natural obviously returning
He's a natural catcher. He has a great background returning punts in college, so obviously he has potential.
backs great running tendency
I think great running backs have a tendency to run by instinct, run by feel,
excited jumps position rallying reading
I'm excited we're in position to make plays, we're reading our keys, we're getting jumps on the quarterback, we're reading his eyes, we're rallying to the ball,
achievement adverse came continuing credit earned football forward great greatly home hung key missing next orleans players proud season
I would just like to say it is a great feeling, a great accomplishment by our team. I am very proud of them. A credit to the New Orleans Saints, they came in here under adverse circumstances, obviously, missing some key players and they competed greatly today. We hung in there and we earned our 11th victory. We look forward to continuing the season at home next week. I am really proud of our football team.
