anybody games great
We didn't have great games from anybody in our lineup.
building might night seemed third
When we got that third goal, I thought it might just be our night. But when they got their third goal, it seemed to give them a lot of life. It got the building (excited).
assertive couple good lazy penalties start took
I don't think we were complacent, I don't think that we got the start that we had wanted. We weren't very good on a couple of shifts. We took lazy penalties tonight. We weren't assertive enough when we went to battle.
expect harder
I expect we'll see a harder working team.
difference jersey matter stakes time year
If we think a jersey is making a difference for us, then great. This time of the year the stakes are so high, it shouldn't matter what we wear.
chance dumb giving teams took
We have to be better than we were today. We took too many dumb penalties. We keep doing that; we keep giving teams a chance to get back in games.
nice scrap
He got into a nice scrap with their captain. Sometimes when you are squeezing a little bit, physicality is great.
great hockey learning playing practice rest saves
He made some great saves in the third. He's been playing a lot of hockey for us. We haven't been able to get him as much rest as we'd like to and as much practice as we'd like to ... but he's really learning how to compete. You can see that.
correct penalties people took veteran
We took some penalties that we were responsible for and by veteran people and those things we have to correct and correct quickly.
business dave decision difficult felt gone hockey number strong three ways
I felt Dave could have gone two or three ways with this decision. Hockey is a difficult business. I think he could have made a strong decision in a number of ways but I'm comfortable where he's gone.
hitting improve opportunity ourselves simple task
If we improve the shots, that simple task of hitting the net, we give ourselves a better opportunity to be successful.
against battling bit competitor everybody focus guy people wanting
He's a competitor and we've got a lot of competitive players, too, and they were battling him. Sidney is a bit of a focus for everybody in the game. One of the things that makes people want to show what they've got is wanting to show it against a guy like that.
third
He was a difference-maker in the third period.
game heck played pleasing types
He did really well in that (fight). I thought he played a heck of a game as well. When you get those types of efforts, it's really pleasing for the team.
