hard staff trust
It's hard. It's hard to find time. Fortunately, I have a staff I can trust and I was able to get away.
key team year
We have more of a team than we did a year ago and that has been a real key part of our success.
cupboard filling lose players sight sign
We can't lose sight of the cupboard. This year, we were able to sign some players early. But you can't lose sight of filling the cupboard with players.
five four good guys team unless
We are not a good team unless we have four or five guys scoring.
fortunate hit hopefully playing pull wall win
We were fortunate to pull that one out because we haven't been playing very well lately. I think we hit a wall there for a while, but hopefully this win will get us out of it.
assurance kids respect won
The only assurance we have is, because we won our league, we would be in the NIT. All respect to the NIT, but that's not where these kids want to go.
basketball beat good road
We battled to win. We beat a good basketball team. If you do that on the road you have to be pleased.
extremely four game last lead played quit single smart threatened threw won
We won the game tonight. We played extremely well for about 30 minutes. We got such a big lead we quit defending. They threw in some threes. We didn't play very smart the last three, four minutes. I didn't feel threatened but it was a single digit game.
last
We had been rock-solid defensively for the last two months.
adjustment basketball good moving playing struggled
We're going to have play better than we did in Moscow. They've struggled with the adjustment of moving up in leagues, but they've been playing very good basketball of late. We're going to have to play well to get a W.
bothered double figures pressure
We're going to have to play better than we did in Moscow. We were up double figures and their pressure bothered us.
afternoon fold game proud reasons several team teams win zero
We play an afternoon game with zero preparation and find a way to win the game. I was proud of our team that day. A lot of teams under those circumstances would have had several reasons to fold up their tent. They didn't do it.
games march played
We played well in spurts and didn't play well at times. Often games in March aren't pretty, but we were able to find a way to win.
