coach ready team
I'd say every team has a chance. That's not coach speak. You better come ready to play.
both convention hopefully next wrap
(Talks are) going well. That's about all I can say. I have to go to the coaches' convention and hopefully we can wrap it up next week. I think we'd both like to.
challenge guys players plays reasons
It's going to be a challenge because they (the Bulldogs) are very good. They're not just a one-man team. They've got a lot of guys making plays for them. They've put a lot of players around Millsap. That's one of the reasons they're a much-improved team.
good
It's frustrating when you can't do what you know you are very good at.
both deal extremely high played pressure proud
It was a hard-fought game; well played by both teams. I'm extremely proud of my players. Expectations were extremely high and that's a lot of pressure to deal with at a young age.
played
It was a hard-fought game. Certainly, we played well in spurts and not well at times.
half
At the end of the first half we got a little comfortable and out of rhythm.
effective efficient floor four offensive opens three year
They're not that different from a year ago. They have three or four shooters on the floor at all times. That opens the floor. They're a very efficient and effective offensive team.
attention detail game great growing guess last mental minutes seconds sign
The great thing about that game is the last two minutes that they (the players) did everything the way we told them to do. We showed great attention to detail in the last 90 seconds of that game. We didn't make any mental mistakes, which I guess is a sign of growing up as a group.
finishing five game half minutes rhythm second talked
The game was getting sluggish. We talked about getting back into rhythm and finishing the half strong, and to come out and play well in the first five minutes of the second half.
It didn't have anything to do with it. We didn't play defense.
games march played
We played well in spurts and didn't play well at times. Often games in March aren't pretty, but we were able to find a way to win.
afternoon fold game proud reasons several team teams win zero
We play an afternoon game with zero preparation and find a way to win the game. I was proud of our team that day. A lot of teams under those circumstances would have had several reasons to fold up their tent. They didn't do it.
exciting
It's a very exciting day for me and my family.
