I feel like, if the guys can look at me in the huddle and see a calm and collected face, that they're going to relax a little bit. The way I look at it, leadership and being that guy is, don't be someone you're not. Don't be a hoorah guy jumping around and clapping your hands if you're not that guy.

Sayers had a great day. He produced big for us, and that bunt kept a rally going. It seems like with this team, we have a different hero step up every day.

I didn't really notice midterms being early or late. As you become a fourth year things get blurry so you don't have a sense of time.

Obviously, when those guys are playing well, it makes my job easier. The system that we have here, it's just able to click when those guys are doing their jobs.

I knew beforehand it would be close because we clashed a few times last year. I knew he was going to be close to me, but I just stuck in there and gave it all I had at the end.

The issue is when we got on we were taking bases today and we weren't able to score. That's how we've won. We've hit the ball, and we didn't do it today. You can't win them all.
board instead knowing nice played shot watching wondering
I just played steady. I shot 74 at conference, so I thought I had a shot. It's nice to be here knowing I'm in, instead of watching the board wondering if I made it.
