I don't know if I would personally want to step in the cage and either have my face caved in or cave in somebody else's, but I've met some really beautiful and sensitive and morally pretty stout individuals who happen to be fighters. It's really awesome.

I don't know if I know anything different, really. I know when you have good pass protection, it makes your job so much easier.

I didn't think we played that bad. We worked our butts off to get back in the game. We just couldn't fight all the way back.

I didn't think we matched up too well with Pepperell anyway. Then the coin flip really was disheartening.

I didn't think we'd come around this quickly. The players, they have volleyball skills and court sense. That makes my job easier. Everyone started with a clean slate. I knew if we stuck with the philosophy that things would turn around eventually. The results speak for themselves. Every practice and every game we're getting better.

I didn't set out to prove I could win national medals from Peoria, Illinois. But that's where I live, and everything I need is there.

I didn't know or wasn't willing to admit that. I learned the hard way.
fourth offense question whether
I didn't know if I wanted to go through more change. It's another uniform, and my fourth offense I'm learning. I'm used to change, but I did question whether to stay.

I didn't know if he had it in him, quite frankly. I didn't know if he was going to quit or if we were going to have to kick him off the team. Sometimes there was a lack of effort, and his attitude wasn't the best, but he's come a long way since then and I'm proud of him.

I didn't know how, but I had to fight through it. I was a little tired. He was slipping my Russian tie a little better, so I adjusted a little bit. I felt him breaking (in the third period).
guess lay people win
I didn't read into it like other people did. Guess what? We're going to go out and try and win this game. Sorry, we're not going to just go out and lay down.
figured goal happen happy knew maybe near starters throw worked
I didn't know what would happen. I knew the starters weren't going to play much, so I figured I would play a lot. I thought anything could happen when we got down near the goal line, maybe throw one up, and we did. I was happy everything worked out.
