We were totally free to hang out anywhere and no one noticed us. We were not even worth a dot of ink on a page in the local newspaper. It was great to just go out and have a beer with no major hoopla.

We were trying to get the ball in the paint. We just didn't shoot the ball well all night.

We were trying to go aggressively to the basket and I felt like we were doing that. But we just couldn't get to the foul line. We were being aggressive but we weren't shooting any free throws.

We were a lot better tonight than we've been. I think it just really came down to whoever had the ball last was going to win the game.
chicago collecting data lab monday protein solved structures thursday
We were at the Argonne Lab in Chicago on Monday collecting data, and by Thursday we were able to deposit two solved protein structures in the Protein Data Bank.

We were defending a lot better as a team, rebounding better as a team and the tempo was in our favor.
finding hard kids recruit vermont
What I am finding is that here in Vermont it is hard to get kids recruited. They just don't come up here and recruit live.

What I expect to hear (from the court) is that the way things are is not really fair, but that's the way it is. Just to create awareness would be enough, to at least get a debate started.

What if cars drove by the power of colors? Like if you would fuel your car on red. Or purple.

We'll sit down and work out where we're going to attack and where we're going to see the opportunities to play the Brumbies.

We'll take a lot of things from this game, but mostly we realize we'll have to get better. We'll take all that to the practice field.
advertise august chances coming facility friday kids league nights opened reason saturday word youth
The facility is very nice. The league pretty much got started through word of mouth. Pinheads opened in August 2005, and there weren't a lot of chances to advertise the youth league. But I think we can get it to grow. We have a lot of kids coming in here on Friday and Saturday nights to bowl. There's no reason we can't get them in here on Saturday morning.
benefit couple days extra stay
The extra couple of days are going to benefit all of us in the long run. Right now, you just want to stay sharp.

The expectations certainly were on her this year. Everybody knew that she'd be the player to stop on our team. But she went out every night and produced. I knew I could always count on 20 points and at least 10 or 12 rebounds a game from her.
