What I should have done, if I was going to be a GM, was gone on the road, gotten into the personnel a lot better. To do that job, you've gotta do it all year. I just did it at draft time.

I need to be more cognizant of the type of guy we're getting. If anything, the coach has made that abundantly clear to me. ... I need to pay attention to that and get the right type of person because there are times when I haven't done that.

I'm kind of running out of quotes for those guys. They've just gotten to a level that's above what you're used to seeing. As for anything different they did, they just did what they've been doing all year.

We did a lot better job of playing the pace we wanted to play. I give Kim a lot of credit for that. When we're success against Merced, it's usually a low scoring game.
good heaven merits understand
I understand I'm a sinner. I'm not perfect, and I need a Savior, and that I'm not going to make it to Heaven on merits and doing good things.

Overall we had a tremendous day. It's one of our fastest years in the last 10, there is just a tremendous amount of fast swimming going on now (in Texas).
eight flat game great maybe played seriously
They did a great job, played us tough, but I think we were a little flat being off for eight days. I think maybe we didn't take the game as seriously as we should've. We have to play a lot better than that to advance.
angel compared david gets guard outside shoot solid
David gets compared to Angel and he doesn't have the smoothness and skill, but he's a solid player. He's can shoot outside and go to the glass. He does not have guard skills, but is more of a four-man (power forward).

We couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. We got decent looks, we just couldn't make a basket.
