Our players have their sights set on winning our conference this year. Last year, we were around a .500 team, so we're definitely looking to improve, because we know we can do better than that.

Some of those people are former players here. Some are coaches that have been around or people in the building. Or maybe it's just some of the people from Seattle who have followed the team since 1976. It would mean a great deal to them.

This has been a dream of ours for four years and we are so excited to play on the big ice. As a team we had some big goals this year, and the biggest of them was to reach the state tournament. We wanted to do it so much for (coach Jay Graham), who has motivated us so well. All of us on this team love sports, love hockey and push each other and it has paid off.

I always see people tweeting about these crazy amazing things their boyfriend or girlfriend did for them. You shouldn't have to constantly be trying to prove your love when you're in a relationship.

It's the youngest team we've ever brought to district. Eighty-five percent of our team are either freshmen or sophomores.

Obviously Ethan Whaley is a big part of our team, but at the same time we talk to our kids about stepping up in different roles and being aggressive. I wasn't overly impressed with our defensive attitude tonight.

I felt I needed to tell the coaches I needed to do whatever it will take to make the team better.

I thought he was playing soft in the first half. He was one of the biggest guys on the floor. He had to step up his game. I think he responded well.
