hoping players stability
I'm hoping I'm here a long time, ... Stability can go a long way for players and teams. They know what to expect.
allen beat change couple decision floor gives kyle room
Kyle got beat a couple times, but he can change the game. He spreads the floor and gives Allen more room to operate. They have to make a decision who's going to beat 'em.
aggressive reason whatever
I thought he was more aggressive than normal, for whatever reason.
expected reason win
No one expected us to win this game. That's the reason you play.
move team veteran
They had 30 assists and we had 11, and that's not going to work. They look like a veteran team when they move the ball, and we look like a team that has to get better.
grown growth happens hear point refreshing
I could hear how grown up he'd become. That's what happens with most people. They've got to grow up at some point and I could hear the growth in his voice. It was refreshing and it was amazing.
allen bring chris defense flip kevin kyle offense played room side stretch
I thought Kevin played well. I think he had our offense going a little bit, but on the flip side I think sometimes you want to bring Kyle in to stretch the defense and give Allen Iverson and Chris (Webber) a little more room to operate.
certainly defense dribble hurt quite shots zone
The zone hurt us quite a bit. We couldn't get any shots; we couldn't get any dribble penetration. We didn't make any shots and certainly our defense was not up to par.
comeback game lose shame
It's a shame that we lose a game like that after having to make a comeback like that.
heck
It was a heck of a shot, ... Once again, it was our rebounding that put us in a hole.
allen four miss player time
Any time you don't have a player like Allen play for four consecutive games, you're going to miss him. You're going to miss his scoring, his drive, a lot of things.
ball himself people seen selfish shooting takes talk teammates tries win
People talk about him shooting the ball a lot, but it's not a selfish thing. If we get down, he takes a lot on himself to go and win the game. I've seen his maturation in the way he tries to will his teammates to win.
allen bench gave guys hear
You could hear Allen on the bench keep saying, 'We're still there, We're still there. I think he gave a lot of guys a lot of hope.
credit guys player pointed shape
Kyle?s in better shape than a lot of these guys here and that?s what I pointed out to them. A guy who doesn?t have to be here and is here, and in better shape than some of the other players, is a credit to him. I think some of those guys have to look at him and see a player who?s here who doesn?t have to be here and in the shape that he?s in now.
