act good happen hate horses lost
Usually trainers are good to each other and volunteer, but I've had it happen with trainers who hate my guts, and there's trainers who I've lost horses to who I hate their guts. It's uncomfortable, but you have to act like a pro.
against distance good great lost road seven sprint star
Seven furlongs (King's Bishop) is a great distance to come back. But then Bellamy Road would have to go up against unbeaten sprint star Lost in the Fog. On the other hand, I don't think the Travers (1 1/4 miles) has as good competition.
against competition distance fog four good great lost run seven
Seven furlongs is a great distance to come back, but you've got to run against Lost in the Fog. On the other hand, the mile-and-a-quarter Travers, I don't think the competition is as good as Lost in the Fog but that mile-and-a-quarter, he hasn't run in four months.
bishop dilemmas extremely lost mile talk tough
The King's Bishop is extremely tough with Lost in the Fog. On the other hand, we have the conditioning thing going a mile and a quarter. There are two dilemmas to talk about. That's why I want to talk to the Boss.
against amazing competition distance duplicate four good gotten great horse lost memorial mile quarter run seven taller wood
Seven furlongs is a great distance to come back, but you've got to run against Lost in the Fog. On the other hand, the mile-and-a-quarter Travers, I don't think the competition is as good as Lost in the Fog, but that mile and a quarter - he hasn't run in four months. He's an amazing horse. He's developed; he's gotten taller and longer. He's got a lot of ability. Hopefully, if he can duplicate his Wood Memorial (G1), you'll see what kind of horse he is.
beat care gave great guts horse jock johnny possibly race rode run salute treasure tremendous
I salute the winner, and Johnny rode a tremendous race. My jock rode a great race, too. I want to take care of this horse as well as I possibly can, because he gave his guts for us. They had to run to beat this horse today. I've got a real treasure in Bellamy Road.
good high hopes horse
We've had high hopes for our horse all year. We'll see how he does Saturday. If he's good enough, he's good enough. I would like to get there with him.
miracle
That would take a miracle to get him in.
george
I think right now, George is very happy.
excited forward great hope keeps race ran
You have to be excited about Great Point. He ran a great race and you just hope he keeps going forward and comes around.
fortunate march might
We're going to see where we're at on March 4. The unfortunate thing is we might not see what we want to see, and the fortunate thing is at least it ain't May 4.
improvement length
We're getting close. I like that. We usually find a length or two (improvement) when we come to Kentucky. He's got to be first or second. That's what we need.
hoping
We'll see who develops. That's what I'm hoping for.
breeze ready
He's doing great. He'll be ready for his first breeze in about two weeks.
