It's a big loss, for Kip and for us. We just have to keep going for him and hope he can be ready to come back quickly.
chance early easier felt game good nice team win
It just felt good to win a game. You want to go out there and give your team a chance to win the game and I haven't been doing that. It was nice to get the early runs. It made it easier for me.
forget
It was not my day. I'll try to forget this game.
I wanted to win, but the more important thing is we got the win. We are a team. It's not just me.
bit good miss missed today
I want to be on the zone. Today I didn't miss high. I just missed a little bit outside, inside. That's good for me.

Every year is a different year, ... This has been a disappointing year. I have to come to spring training next year prepared to have a good year.
good higher power throw trying
They have some good power hitters. I was just trying not to throw in the middle, keep it higher or lower.
feeling good pitches threw time
I threw some 80-something pitches and was feeling good all the time. That was a good time for me.
location slider threw
I threw 100 percent. I used my splitter. My slider was good. My location was good. Right now, I feel really good.
feeling good last tough win
It was important for me. It was tough last year. It was tough for me the last two games. It was important for me to win this game. I'm feeling good right now.
fastball thinking
The fastball is coming, but I'm not thinking about the fastball right now. I'm thinking about the game, and the fastball is going to come.
felt threw took
I feel good. I threw too many pitches. That's why they took me out, but I used all my pitches, and I felt good.
ball thinking
I was thinking too much out there. The ball was all over the place.
best everybody good happy hitter intimidate knows major people strike
For me, this is no problem. Sometimes when I strike out some people I feel good and I do something that's in the moment. So I don't try to intimidate that guy. I do it for myself. ... You feel happy because everybody knows he's the best hitter right now in the major leagues.
