I can't believe it went right into the net. I went to make a move and all of a sudden I hit it straight in. There were a couple of hits on my stick, but it shouldn't matter.
I can't believe it went right in the net. I don't know what to say. I thought I was going to pick it up and go behind the net. I went to make a move, and all of a sudden I hit it straight in.
It's just a great time of the year. Everybody is pulling for each other, and everybody is working together to get the job done. When we're playing well, you can see the extra effort in everything we do.
It just popped right out, and I was able to get the shot on net. It found a way in. We had some boys in front making it hard for him to see the puck.
It just goes to show, even when you have the effort it's hard to win in this league.
It's going to be a good test for our club coming off two poor performances. Instead of backpedaling, hopefully we can start moving in the right direction.
The last couple of games we haven't done the things we need to do to win games and that's got to stop.
It was good to come out and get that three-goal lead like that. We had some more chances after that.
The effort was there tonight, definitely. It just goes to show you, even when you have the effort it's hard to win in this league. We didn't get the result we wanted but I think we took a step in the right direction.
It's great. We know it's always like that in the playoffs.
Everyone in our division knows how tight the race is so those games are that much tighter. It's a challenge every night for Joe and myself. We have to look at it like that and have fun with it.
We took some bad penalties, penalties at the wrong time, anyway.
I don't know what it is. They always come out hard and play us hard. We have to expect that. They haven't taken any games off against us this year, and it seems like maybe we have.
We've got a lot of games against division rivals, and if we can win those, we're right back in the thick of things.
