I learned so much - a lot of hockey things, but probably the biggest was the work ethic that Kelly would bring. Kelly told me he would do it for me, and make sure that some day, you do it for somebody else.
It's going to be a good test for our club coming off two poor performances. Instead of backpedaling, hopefully we can start moving in the right direction.
We've been saying it all year, we need everyone coming to play. If we do that, we should get good results. Guys are working hard and stuff, but it's little mistakes that in years past there'd be somebody else back to cover things up and we're not doing that either.
We find ourselves trying to play ourselves into a playoff spot. Right now we're playing ourselves out of it.
We had our chances on the power play, and we definitely could have used a big goal. We tried a lot of shots. Maybe we should have worked it around a little more. When we do that, though, we say we need to shoot more.
We want to play them in their end and always have the puck and start making plays in their zone. When we're successful, we get results like this.
